ARTISAN: Someone who creates with skill, craft and their own hands
COLLECTIVE: A group of people coming together with a shared purpose
Artisan Collective is not built on art world validation, investment-led narratives, or follower counts. It exists to place exceptional work into real environments, directly and without noise.
As an invite-only network representing over 150 leading independent British artists, with £10 million of work available online and far more beyond, we connect designers, commercial partners and private clients directly to the artists behind the work.

A considered alternative to traditional routes, connecting you straight to the people behind the work. Share a brief, an idea or a requirement, and we respond with a focused selection that fits the space and the intent, supporting you through to delivery.
We work closely with you throughout, helping shape direction, challenge thinking where needed, and ensure the right decisions are made at the right time. The process stays collaborative, clear and commercially grounded at every stage.
From individual pieces through to complex, multi-site commissions, we provide a discreet and structured approach to sourcing and commissioning British work, with clear timelines, transparent pricing and international delivery. JANE SHAW - Bronze Sculptor
The Artisan Exposé invites you behind the scenes with Britain’s most compelling artists. This feature captures the world of Jane Shaw - a sculptor known for breathing life into bronze, freezing the moment just before something happens.
From her Dorset studio, Jane blends instinctive mark-making with deep field observation to capture movement and emotion - whether it’s a dog mid-roll or a pair of mice poised to kiss. “It’s about the moment just before - that feeling something’s about to happen.”
Her process is both meticulous and collaborative. Collectors are invited into every stage - from concept to wax, from foundry to final installation.
“We were involved all the way through… it made the piece feel like ours.”
“Jane totally understood what I was after - the result was absolutely spot on.”
Her short film, The Essence of Movement, offers a rare window into this journey - revealing the care, craft, and quiet intensity behind each work.
