The Founder, Marie-Claire Ritchie
Artisan Collective was founded in 2012 by Marie-Claire Ritchie, combining her design, commercial and project management skills and passion for specialist joinery and finishes.
Marie-Claire is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with 25 years’experience on many prestigious fit-out construction projects in London. A graduate in Civil Engineering from Nottingham University in 1987, Marie-Claire trained with Price Waterhouse, Wimpey Construction, Davis Langdon and EC Harris.
Marie-Claire set up Agora London in 1995, a specialist French Parquet flooring company, working with leading interior designers and architects. Projects included The Long Gallery of the Parliament Building at Stormont Castle in Belfast and collaborated with Weldon Flooring on several prestigious private residential projects in London.
Marie-Claire Ritchie is the Director of Ritchie Consulting Ltd formed in 2000, providing cost consultancy to the following clients:-
- Wilkhahn, Eurostar, Bene, Opus Magnum, Hunters Contracts Ltd., University Arts of London, Kings Cross, Royal Hospital Chelsea Refurbishmen
Marie-Claire has worked with Canary Wharf Contractors Ltd on many large commercial fit-out projects including:-
- HSBC, Lehman Bros and Barclays, StateStreet, Moody’s, FSA, JP Morgan, European Medicines Agency, European Banking Agency, UCL School of Management.
Marie-Claire has become a kitchen specialist, procuring 1952 kitchens for Canary Wharf Contractors Ltd on residential towers including:-
- Newfoundland Tower, Wood Wharf and One Park Drive, Herzog & de Meuron Architects.
