Marie-Claire Ritchie

Artisan Collective was founded in 2012 by Marie-Claire Ritchie, combining her skills and knowledge of design, specialist finishes and project management offering a specialist finishes brokerage service.

After graduating in Civil Engineering from Nottingham University in 1987, Marie-Claire trained with Price Waterhouse, Wimpey Construction, Davis Langdon and EC Harris. Qualifying as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 1994, she has over 20 years’ experience working on many prestigious fit-out construction projects in London.

In 1995, after working for two years on the restoration of Waddesdon Manor with the National Trust and Davis Langdon, Marie-Claire set up Agora London, a specialist French Parquet flooring company, working with leading interior designers and architects. Projects included The Long Gallery of the Parliament Building at Stormont in Belfast. Agora London also worked jointly with Weldon Flooring on several prestigious private residential projects in London.

Marie-Claire Ritchie is also the Director and founder of Ritchie Consulting Ltd formed in 2000, providing cost consultancy to the construction industry.
